The Legislature is considering reinstating the Citizens Advisory Commission on Federal Management Areas in Alaska. Senate Bill 34 will help navigate the federal permitting process and ensure our interests are protected from federal overreach. The Commission would monitor federal actions, solicit public comments, and assist individual Alaskans when engaging with the federal government.

 

The Board of Agriculture and Conservation is looking for Alaskans with commercial agriculture experience in the areas of livestock, dairy, vegetable, grain, horticulture or hydroponic production to serve on the board for a period of 3 years.
