I want to hear from you

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come out to the excellent town hall in Soldotna last night. I loved having the opportunity to hear directly from folks about their ideas and concerns.

I want to hear from you as I prepare to go back to Juneau in January. You are always welcome to stop by my office at 145 Main Street Loop in Kenai or call 907-283-7996. I hope you’ll get in touch to share your thoughts.

A Bill to Honor Disabled Veterans

The men and women who have protected and defended our nation in the military have earned the right to enjoy the natural beauty of the country they have served and love. To show respect and appreciation to Alaska’s disabled veterans, I am introducing a bill to provide them with free lifetime Alaska State Park’s camping and parking passes.

I recognize that our disabled veterans have already paid their due, many times in blood, to defend our great land and way of life. This bill is a small gesture of our appreciation for their service and sacrifice. We appreciate our veterans and are honored to be able to thank them with this lifetime Alaska State Parks disabled veterans camping and parking pass.
