Mark Your Calendars: Pre-Session Constituent Meeting

Please join me on Monday, January 6 from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at the Anchorage Legislative Information Office (LIO) for a Pre-Session Constituent Meeting to hear from West Anchorage residents before we reconvene in Juneau. Food and drinks will be served!

Transit on the Move Draft Plan Available for Public Comment

Transit on the Move is the short-range transit plan for the Municipality of Anchorage. This planning process looks to enhance the transit system implemented in October 2017 and, through community input, determine what comes next. The plan identifies goals and objectives, and it creates a list of priority projects for the transit system.

The 45-day public review period ends on January 31, 2020. You can pick up a copy of the plan at the Downtown Transit Center, or go online and download the PDF at: peoplemover.org/TransitOnTheMove.

Zoo Lights

The Alaska Zoo invites you to visit their lighted parade of animal-themed displays. See the full schedule below.

Zoo Lights tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the zoo gate during Zoo Lights hours. Tickets are $10 per non-member ages 3 and over, $8 per zoo member ages 3 and over, with ages 2 and under free.
