We are quickly approaching the end of the session. With only 16 days left, much has been accomplished thus far (see more below).

The session has been great, especially for the Senate working together within our bi-partisan majority. We are officially halfway through the Legislative session with today marking the 73rd day – we will definitely be in session for the constitutionally required 121 days.

Women’s History Month started off as a week-long celebration in 1982 but continued to pass joint resolutions in Congress. In 1987 it was designated as a month-long celebration in March.
