I hope you have been having a great summer! The 102nd annual Tanana Valley State Fair is underway and for long-time Fairbanksans that means a few things: the rain is here; school is right around the corner and the Primary Election is approaching! Since we returned from the legislative session, the office has been busy connecting with the community and preparing for the next regular legislative session which starts in January 2027. My office has also been talking to constituents about the pending Special Session and the Dunleavy tax cut for Glenfarne. Dear Friends and Neighbors, The Legislature met in this year’s second special session to continue working on legislation related to the gas pipeline project. The Legislature again made progress, but the Legislature did not pass the measure and the Governor will call a third special session to begin July 27th.

SITKA, AK – The Governor signed the capital budget into law Wednesday evening. This year’s capital budget is primarily focused on addressing deferred maintenance issues burdening the state. Most projects included in this budget were selected from priority lists developed by the Governor’s administration.
