On Tuesday, my colleagues and I convened the 2nd session of the 34th Legislature in Juneau. This year, the legislature is focusing on the budget, natural gas pipeline, election reform, and education. Governor Dunleavy’s proposed budget has a $1.8 billion dollar deficit, and my colleagues and I are looking at ways to close that gap and balance
